Your epic quest to ...
Your epic quest to whitewash (quite literally!) over any elements of discrimination is a nobly inspired one, as you clearly spend hours filling up the comments section of a comedy video. Your sheer redundancy praising the eternally unflawed methods of capitalism has convinced me that the media is purely reactionary to the deeply seated desires of womanhood, and thus complete bereft of casualty themselves! I'm going to go make passionate love to a Swiffler now.

the ads play on the ...
the ads play on the insecurities inherent in women in society today. there's nothing sexist about it since its purpose is to sell a product, just like mcdonalds.
if women did not want to look like that then obviously they would not market it that way.

mate women have ...
mate women have been wearing makeup for thousands of years - its a cultural thing. there's nothing sexist in marketing mascara to women because as i said, they're statistically more likely to buy it.
saying its sexist to market realistically to your target audience is like saying its racist to state that black people are more likely to live in poverty than white people, or asian students typically do better at school.

A mcdonlads ad ...
A mcdonlads ad tells you that "you will like this food, it's tasty", not "you are flawed and in order to reduce your flaws you should eat here". An ad for make up tells you that you need to have more luster to your dull grey skin, or that you need a lip gloss that stays on and doesn't smudge, because you're embarrasing yourself if you leave marks on your dinner glass.
It's completely different. One ad tells you to enjoy something, the other tells you to change yourself to fit the stereotype.

But why are women ...
But why are women prone to buy these things? Are we women biologically programmed to buy mascara? Probably not. I'm sure advertisers aren't trying to be sexist, as you write, they're just trying to sell a product, but they are still a big part of keeping women unsure of themselves, telling them that they're not good enough unless they look after their home, dye their hair if it's starting to gray etc. They prey upon already existing sexist values in order to make money. Understandable, yet sad.

yes, so the ads use ...
yes, so the ads use the views of women to sell them products. nothing racist. you're going on a completely different tangent about the media in general. do you think its sexist that barbie dolls are marketed exclusively towards little girls? no, again it reflects reality.
its no different to a mcdonalds add showing someone enjoying their food to make them buy their products

Doesn't stop them ...
Doesn't stop them from being sexist. Women are encouraged to buy in order to mask insecurities, especially pertaining body image. It's conditioned from a young age. Men like to have their ego stroked and accentuated - also conditioned. The media realizes it's more profitable because a higher rate of women suffer from appearance distortion issues and anxiety. It's a blatant and yes sexist exploitation of an unfortunate epidemic. Yet it does make money. Sexism and realism aren't mutually exclusive
