Needless to say I think it is beyond amazing and saves you literally weeks of time in trying to develop a UNIQUE Joomla template. Whether you know code or not, this tool and its interface makes quick work of creating one, and one that no other human being has. It also equally makes just as cool WordPress and Drupal templates, but my fav is Joomla so that is what the video is around. You basically use the interface to make whatever template you want, and then you choose the export option which in turn changes which template it makes (ie WordPress, Drupal or Joomla). You zip up the file and all details are taken care of for you. I couldnt recommend it enough!

@VsimponsV Artisteer isn’t a website maker that you can “publish” pages to the web with. It is basically a skins/layout/template maker – a tool to change the LOOK of the pages that you do create and publish with some platform, like Joomla, Drupal or WordPress. @bigotrysux , Thanks for your contact. IE6? I believe that Artisteer creates IE6 css files, however I would expect bugs with your entire Internet experience if using IE6. I don’t develop for IE6, neither do many template clubs. IE6 has known bugs and security issues (for example they don’t like .png files). Not sure why anyone uses it anymore ??
It truly is a horrible browser.

@bigotrysux , really? I suppose it could be the trial, however the newer versions have been proven to be very bug free (not saying totally). What sort of bugs are you experiencing? Thanks for your comment.
i tried this artisteer and the templates it made for me were full of bugs. i wonder if that’s because it was the trial version?

its really a spectacular demo..just wana ask few things, as i observed most of the frequent video shows its more about an article, what if i need my design template purely on moving graphics? 3d object or what so ever? could your interface do that? thanks.
@tedz2000 Thanks for your contact. The templates SHOULD override any text you’ve added. Your issue is usually a result when people use a text editor like Word for example to make their web pages, then they copy and paste this into their article manager. This copies code that is not HTML friendly and causes the “garble” you see. Since this garble is the issue, it won’t matter which template you use, all will suffer the injection of the text editors code. Did you copy and paste?
i tryed several joomla templates even the ones that come installed. when i switch to the template (new) the content gets garbled up. How do i fix it where the templates overide the previous setting – or how can i start a fresh template. — please email me at

To be clear, you make the text and words of your website – in your Joomla platform. That is what it is for. This product simply helps you create a template/layout. In other words it helps you determine what the words you create in Joomla will look like.
So Joomla is for creating the content, and Artisteer is for how that content will look…. I hope I answered you
