I’m sure he’s really “good” at bass, but for me that solo was a total yawn fest, come to think about it, this entire “blues jam” is so generic, vapid and soulless that nothing really stands out to me as “good”. I’ll stick with my Jeff Beck records for instrumental guitar music that actually touches me emotionally.

I also get where you are coming from, but Realize (most) tone is opion, if he likes it good for him, he saved him self 1000′s of $, but it dont sound the same by any meens. The dynamic range is in the toilet, your EQ dont react like it should, I have MANY reasons. But hey I LOVE the vox wah wah some people like the cry baby, its all opion (thank ya for bein mature and not just cusing “to” me) =)

All my rants below were supposed to be to highsociey1. You have to read them from the last one to the first. I hope this sheds light for everyone. I am not an expert or claiming to be. Just want to help open others minds to the pod. If I had the money, there would be a Bogner, Soldano, and a Vox Ac-30 in my living room! I developed a taste for boutique high dollar true bypass pedals but you have to make family and kids a priority sometimes. I would love to have all fulltone and keeley products!

he stock presets …
he stock presets are not the greatest, but like any real amp you have to work with it to get the sweet spot. For what is in the pod X3 live, amp models, effects, dual amps, cab and mic selections, bass amps, mic preamps, acoutic tayloring, wah pedals, nothing can touch this for $500. At church they freak out at how good it sounds. an you imagine being able to run a Soldano and Bogner at the same time? How about a Vox Ac30 and a marshall plexi.
