I completely disagree. Joomla! is not something you would use for a dating website. Try something more targetted like osdate: http://www.tufat.com/s_free_dating_system.htm

If using Joomla, try Joomla Date. I started using it, it’s pretty easy to use and install. I haven’t completed the site yet, otherwise I’d share it with you.
The guy who sells it offers pretty good support too.
