It was only when she combined her talent with an extreme and shocking gimick that she became widely known. For example, before she was Lady Gaga, had you ever heard of Stefani Germanotta? And if you had, would you consider yourself to have been in the majority or the minority?

Let me clarify. Lady Gaga deserves to be famous. If you were to choose someone who doesn’t deserve to be famous, you’re point would have been much more effective.
